What it is
Granite-grown gamay from one of the named villages that is not allowed to call itself a cru, which keeps it affordable. Whole bunches, short maceration, bottled in the spring.
Red fruit and pepper, almost no tannin. The house red of about forty of our customers.

Charcuterie, sausages, a Tuesday.
